Current Orphanage in Lima, Peru
When Mitch went on his first mission trip in June of 2002 it changed his life forever. After returning home, Mitch began seeking God’s guidance to see if he should go into mission work full time.

New Daycare Center - Manchay, Peru
On September 16th 2005 MSF sent a group of twelve individuals to work on the New Daycare Center. The team included six journeymen carpenters and six helpers that helped complete two 20’x40’ classroom buildings and one kitchen building.

Tabitha House

The Tabitha House has been providing a safe place for homeless women and children for over thirty years. They have sheltered over 70,000 individuals providing them with food, clothing, housing, transportation and education.

The Mitchell Swaback Athletic Center
New sports complex at Harvest Bible Chapel Elgin Facility:

Sports was always a large part of Mitch’s life. He played on the church’s basketball, softball, and soccer teams. Pastor James MacDonald recently shared how Mitch suggested every Sunday in the church’s friendship register, that the church should start a basketball league.

Mitch's Stain Glass Window
Mitchell’s grandparents Ralph and Joanne Swaback commissioned and donated a large stain glass window that was installed in their church in Fountain Hills, Arizona in honor and memory of Mitch.

Mitchell's Playground
On December 3rd The Fountains Church in Fountain Hills, Arizona dedicated their new children’s playground in honor of Mitch.  The playground named, “Mitchell’s Playground” will be a new favorite hang out for the many children who attend The Fountains.
